Babylon, New York is the perfect spot for stunning engagement photos! As a Long Island wedding and engagement photographer, I absolutely love taking couples here to capture unique photos. From beautiful architecture, nature in Argyle Park, and bars and coffee shops, there are so many options for fun and beautiful photos.

Documentary style engagement photography at a bar or coffee shop captures the small, unscripted moments that make your engagement shoot feel like a date night. Instead of forced smiles, the focus is natural prompts: a laugh caught mid sip, toasting glasses, etc. Natural light by a window, ambient light, or flash photos in the dark, there are so many options in these beautiful space.

We started our shoot outside of Barrique, then headed to Jack Jack’s for a cup of coffee!

There is something extra cozy about an engagement session in winter. Aside from the fact that I love winter fashion and peacoats, the snow in the background with the twinkly lights feels like magic.

Our next stop was Mary Caroll’s! I absolutely love this bar for the vintage aesthetic and we pretty much had the entire place to ourself.

Finally we ended out shoot at the stunning Argyle Lake. Something about the lake frozen over and snow in the background made this feel so magical, like a winter wonderland. It was the perfect way to make the long winter feel more alive and fun. I highly recommend a winter engagement shoot!
